Hair extensions have been in fashion since Egyptian times and today’s society now associates them with celebrities and members of the public attempting to copy that style.

As society became more and more focused on appearance, so did the use of hair extensions. Celebrities in the 1970s and 80s set the trend for others to follow and iconic singers like Debbie Harry and Bonnie Tyler brought hair extensions even more into the limelight.

During the 1990s, hair extensions were the most popular they had ever been and the Spice Girls brought them to the attention of young girls and aspiring models and musicians. Seen as a stylish hair option used by the stars, sales of hair extensions rocketed when people saw just how glamorous they could look with the help of the extensions.

In modern society, hair extensions are seen as the must have for pop singers, models, celebrities and film stars alike and they give members of the public the chance to improve their appearance and match their styles perfectly, while using the same products as their idols.

Hair extensions have been around since Egyptian times and with them becoming more and more popular amongst celebrities and everyday households, they will be around for many more years to come.
